With over 300 people attending last year’s Just Like My Child gala at the gorgeous home of John and Maria Assaraf, you just might see yourself in this video if you attended last year.
This year’s annual Just Like My Child Foundation benefit, Passport to Africa event will be held at the gorgeous Assaraf home once again on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 6 to 10 pm

Sister Ernestine Akulu, the founder of Bishop Asili Hospital and our primary partner on the ground will join us from East Africa to receive our Lifetime Achievement Award for her fierce commitment, love, dedication and work for the communities and children of Uganda. The obstacles she has overcome to rise into a position of extreme service will astound you. Being in her presence is a life-altering experience.
But here’s the big caveat: In order to make this event infinitely more intimate, our capacity this year is strictly limited to 100 Exclusive Guests! (Please Note: Last year we had 300 guests and a waitlist of 100. This year, we only have 100 tickets available, TOTAL. Tickets WILL sell out rapidly and we cannot increase capacity.)
There are only 39 tickets left!
Because of your past support, I wanted you to be among the first to know that Sister Ernestine will be our keynote speaker at our Fourth Birthday Party event. Before we broadcast this event to our greater audience, I wanted to offer you a private invite and a reduced donation price to reserve your ticket.
We are so blessed this year to be featuring an International Food and Wine Extravaganza showcasing Chef’s from around the world who have generously sponsored this event. This means that the vast majority of the ticket donations will go DIRECTLY to serve our programs on the ground in Uganda.
