Our “Passport to Africa” gala this past October featured Sister Ernestine Akulu, who joined us all the way from Uganda to share her thoughts about the progress and development happening within the communities. It was such a gift to have this amazing “warrior for the vulnerable” in our midst.
When she addressed the group of Just Like My Child supporters, the audience was riveted. It’s our pleasure to share with you a brief overview of her remarks. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
Please support our efforts with a tax-deductible donation.
Sister Ernestine is such an inspiration! And to know that a little help from me will enable her to provide a LOT of help to people who really need it. Way to go JLMC!

It was a true honor to meet Sister Ernestine while she visited San Diego last fall. Her desire to educate and help women and children is fascinating and you can bet that money donated through http://www.justlikemychild.org goes directly to help women and children learn sustainability. Sister Ernestine helps with the newly built hospital. What a wonderful human being!
